Section 34-30-27 Certain persons exempt from examination. (a) Individuals licensed under Section 34-30-23 or Section 34-30-24 shall be exempt from any examination provided for in Section 34-30-22, subdivision (3). (b) Any person who meets the following listed conditions shall be issued a certification as a "licensed certified social worker" without a written examination by the State Board of Social Work Examiners; provided, however, that any person seeking licensure under this section must do so within one year from April 4, 1988. The conditions to be met are as follows: (1) Possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. (2) Have completed a minimum of six quarter-hours at an approved graduate school of social work on or before January 1, 1960. (a) Except as provided in subsection (h) or (i), no person shall administer prosthetic, orthotic, or pedorthic care in this state unless licensed or registered to do so in accordance with this chapter. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations of the board.
