Section 34-14A-4 Officers; meetings; compensation. (a) Members of the board shall select from its own membership a chair, who shall preside at all meetings of the board unless otherwise ordered, and he or she shall exercise and perform all duties and functions incident to the office of chair. The board may select from its own membership a vice-chair, a secretary, and a treasurer. The offices of secretary and treasurer may be held by the same person. (b) The board, at a minimum, shall meet on a quarterly basis and at such other times as the chair may designate for the purpose of transacting business as may properly come before the board.
