Section 45-4-245 Collection and enforcement; disposition of funds. (a) The Bibb County
Commission is hereby authorized to impose upon every person, firm, or corporation who sells,
stores, delivers, uses, or otherwise consumes tobacco or certain tobacco products in Bibb
County a county privilege, license, or excise tax up to the following amounts: (1) Four cents
($0.04) for each package of cigarettes, made of tobacco or any substitute therefor. (2) Four
cents ($0.04) for each cigar of any description made of tobacco or any substitute therefor.
(3) Four cents ($0.04) for each sack, can, package, or other container of smoking tobacco,
including granulated, plug cut, crimp cut, ready rubbed, and other kinds and forms of tobacco

Section 27-29-10 Violations and penalties; criminal proceedings. (a) Any insurer failing,
without just cause, to file any registration statement as required in this chapter shall be
required, after notice and hearing, to pay a penalty of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000)
for each day's delay, to be recovered by the commissioner and the penalty so recovered shall

action. (a) The State Board of Chiropractic Examiners may refuse to grant a license or permit
to any applicant who is not of good moral character and reputation or has a history of narcotic

controlled substances, etc. (a) A person shall not drive or be in actual physical control
of any vehicle while: (1) There is 0.08 percent or more by weight of alcohol in his or her
blood; (2) Under the influence of alcohol; (3) Under the influence of a controlled substance
to a degree which renders him or her incapable of safely driving; (4) Under the combined influence
of alcohol and a controlled substance to a degree which renders him or her incapable of safely

It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly procure or write advertisement for obscene
material or disseminate publicly any obscene material. Any person who violates this subsection
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not
