Section 34-24-215 Temporary licenses. (a) On payment to the board of a fee set by the board, and on submission of a written application on forms provided by the board, the applicant shall be issued without examination a temporary license to practice physical therapy or to act as a physical therapist assistant in this state for a period not to exceed one year, if the person meets the qualifications set forth in Section 34-24-211 and submits evidence satisfactory to the board that he or she is in this state on a temporary basis to assist in a case of medical emergency or to engage in a special physical therapy project. Such special projects may be research and education programs. Each request will be judged by the board on its individual merits. Section 34-27A-22 Revocation or suspension of license - Hearing; findings; judicial review as to questions of law. (a) The hearing on the charges shall be at a time and place prescribed by the board and in accordance with this article. Section 34-8B-6 Complaints; hearing; penalties; appeal. (a) All complaints shall be in writing, signed by the person making the complaint, and addressed to the chair of the board. All complaints shall contain the name and address of the person against whom the complaint is brought and a description of the conduct giving rise to the complaint. Section 45-2-120.09 Appeals from disciplinary actions. (a) A classified employee shall have the right to appeal any disciplinary action taken against him or her. An employee on probationary status shall not have that right unless the employee had permanent status in some other position at the time of appointment to the probationary position.
