Section 34-29-74 Issuance of license without written examination to certain applicants. The board may issue a license without a written examination to a qualified applicant who furnishes satisfactory proof that he or she is a graduate of an accredited veterinary school and who has been for the five years immediately prior to filing his or her application a practicing veterinarian licensed in a state, territory, or district of the United States having license requirements at the time the applicant was first licensed which were substantially equivalent to the requirements of this article. Every person who desires to practice pharmacy within this state shall file with the secretary of the board his or her written application for licensure upon forms furnished by the board not less than 10 days prior to his or her examination.
