Section 34-27C-6 Insurance requirements. (a) Contract security company licensees shall file certificates of insurance with the board certifying coverage. The minimum amount of coverage shall be two million dollars ($2,000,000) for bodily or personal injury and two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for property damage. There shall be included endorsements for general liability, personal injury, and workers' compensation. (b) An insurance policy may not be modified or cancelled without 30 days' prior notice to the board. The insurance company shall be licensed in this state, or in the state in which the insurance is purchased, with the name of a designated agent for service filed in the office of the Secretary of State. (a) No later than May 24, 2001, each owner or operator of a drycleaning facility located in this state who shall notify the department that it elects to be covered by this chapter shall also register each drycleaning facility owned or operated in the state by such owner or operator with the department on forms provided by the department.
