Section 7-9A-523 Information from filing office; sale or license of records. (a) Acknowledgment of filing written record. If a person that files a written record requests an acknowledgment of the filing, the filing office shall send to the person an image of the record showing the number assigned to the record pursuant to Section 7-9A-519(a)(1) and the date and time of the filing of the record. However, if the person furnishes a copy of the record to the filing office, the filing office may instead: (1) note upon the copy the number assigned to the record pursuant to Section 7-9A-519(a)(1) and the date and time of the filing of the record; and (2) send the copy to the person. (a) The party states hereby create and establish a joint public entity known as the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (a) The principal place of business referred to in this article shall be located in the State of Alabama and each licensed real estate appraiser shall advise the board of the address of his or her principal place of business and all other addresses at which he or she is currently engaged in the business of preparing real property appraisal reports. (a) The term "licensed real estate appraiser" or "certified real estate appraiser" may only be used to refer to individuals who hold the license and may not be used following or immediately in connection with the name or signature of a firm, partnership, corporation, or group; or in a manner that it might be interpreted as referring to a firm, partnership, corporation, group, or anyone other than an individual holder of the license.
