Section 17-17-8 Penalties for making false statements to board, etc. Any person who willfully
makes a false statement to the board of registrars, or any duly authorized person, in reidentifying
himself or herself as a qualified elector in the manner provided in Chapter 4 shall be guilty,

Section 34-31-32 Violations; penalties. (a) Any person engaged in business as a certified contractor
or performing the functions of a certified contractor in violation of this chapter shall be
guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, as defined by the state criminal code. (b) The board may,
at its discretion, impose late penalties on those certified contractors who fail to renew
certificates by December 31 of each year. The board may also remove certification from any
certified person who fails to renew his or her certificate by the first day of March and require

attempts to undertake the practice of court reporting for remuneration without first having
procured a license, or who knowingly presents or files false information with the board for
the purpose of obtaining a license or who violates this chapter shall be guilty of a Class

Section 32-7A-21 Penalties. The following penalties are applicable to violations of this chapter:
(1) FELONIES. A person convicted of a felony for the violation of a provision of this chapter

otherwise has an interest in a funeral establishment is deemed to have a conflict of interest
and shall not direct business to the establishment when performing his or her duties under
