Section 34-21A-18 Annual renewal of license. (a) A license is only valid during the calendar year indicated on the license. At the end of that calendar year, the license will expire unless it is renewed by the licensee. All licensees shall make application for license renewal at least 30 days prior to the expiration of a current license. (b) Specific license renewal application forms and license renewal requirements shall be developed by the board. License renewal requirements shall include, but not be limited to, continuing education and training requirements for each level and type of license and evidence of adequate bond. The license renewal application form shall be accompanied by all required documentation and renewal fees. The board shall verify that the renewal applicant is a current licensee who is eligible for renewal before issuing a new license. Section 27-25-4.8 Implementation. (a) The commissioner, by rule pursuant to Chapter 2, may provide for the implementation of the requirements of this chapter. (b) Each title insurance agent certificate of authority in force prior to January 1, 2013, shall be issued a replacement title insurance agent license and appointment upon payment of the annual fee in the amount set forth in Section 27-25-4 prior to January 1, 2013. Section 34-23-52 Expiration and renewal of certificate; continuing education. (a) All certificates of licensure shall expire on December 31 of even-numbered years. Every licensed pharmacist in order to continue to be licensed shall pay a biennial renewal fee to be determined by the board, but the fee shall not be less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150) to the secretary of the board, the fee being due on October 31 and delinquent after December 31 of even-numbered years except, that holders of life certificates to practice pharmacy previously issued shall not be required to pay a renewal fee.
