Section 34-14-10 Receipt to be furnished to person supplied with hearing instrument; persons under age 18 to be first examined by physician. (a) Any person who practices the fitting and sale of hearing instruments shall deliver to each person supplied with a hearing instrument a receipt which shall contain the licensee's or apprentice's signature and show his or her business street address and the number of his or her license or permit, together with specifications as to the make and model of the hearing instrument furnished and the full terms of sale clearly stated. If an instrument which is not new is sold, the receipt and the container thereof shall be clearly marked as "used" or "reconditioned," whichever is applicable, with terms of guarantee, if any.
