Section 8-6-2 Definitions. When used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires,
the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
(1) COMMISSION or SECURITIES COMMISSION. The securities commission. (2) AGENT. Any individual
other than a dealer who represents a dealer or issuer in effecting or attempting to effect
sales of securities, but such term does not include an individual who represents an issuer
in: a. Effecting a transaction in a security exempted by subdivisions (1), (2), (3), (4),
(9) or (10) of Section 8-6-10; b. Effecting transactions exempted by Section 8-6-11; or c.
Effecting transactions with existing employees, partners, or directors of the issuer if no
commission or other remuneration is paid or given directly or indirectly for soliciting any

Section 40-12-255 Manufactured homes. (a) Every person, firm, or corporation who owns, maintains
or keeps in this state a manufactured home as defined according to subsection (n) of this
section, except a manufactured home that constitutes a part of the inventory of a manufacturer
or dealer, shall pay an annual registration fee of $24 for an owner occupied single wide (one
transportable module) manufactured home, $48 for an owner occupied double wide or larger (two
or more transportable modules) manufactured home, $48 for a commercial single wide (one transportable
module) manufactured home, or $96 for a commercial double wide or larger (two or more transportable

Section 40-2A-7 Uniform revenue procedures. (a) Maintenance of records; audit and subpoena
authority; authority to issue regulations. (1) In addition to all other recordkeeping requirements

Section 34-27A-57 Duties of appraisal management company. An appraisal management company shall

Section 40-18-370 Short title; legislative findings; definitions. (a) This article shall be
known and may be cited as the Alabama Jobs Act. (b) The Legislature makes the following findings:

Section 34-27A-60 Unlawful influencing of appraisal. (a) It is unlawful for any employee, director,
officer, or agent of an appraisal management company to influence or attempt to influence

Section 34-27A-63 Applicability. This article does not apply to: (1) A financial institution
that is regulated by a federal financial institution regulatory agency or a department, division,
or unit thereof. An appraisal management company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of a financial
institution may not be considered a department, division, or unit within a financial institution.

Section 34-27A-5 Rulemaking authority; powers and duties of board; immunity from suit. (a)
The board shall act by a majority vote of its members to adopt administrative rules necessary,
