Section 34-2A-10 Issuance of license. (a) The board shall issue a license to an applicant,
on a form provided for that purpose by the board, certifying that the applicant has met the
requirements of the laws, rules, and regulations entitling him or her to serve, act, practice,
and otherwise hold himself or herself out as a duly licensed assisted living administrator
and has paid a fee established by the board pursuant to its rule-making authority for original
licensure, provided the applicant meets all of the following qualifications: (1) Has successfully

Section 34-7B-18 Qualifications of applicants for examination or licensure - Cosmetologist.
(a) No person may be admitted to an examination or licensed as a cosmetologist unless he or
she possesses all of the following qualifications: (1) Is at least 16 years old. (2) Has successfully
completed at least 10 grades in secondary school, or the equivalent. (3) a. Has successfully

Section 34-7B-20 Qualifications of applicants for examination or licensure - Natural hair stylist.
(a) No person may be admitted to an examination or licensed as a natural hair stylist unless
he or she satisfies all of the following qualifications: (1) Is at least 16 years old. (2)

Section 34-13-90 License required; fees. (a) No person shall follow, engage in, or hold himself
or herself out as engaged in the practice as an embalmer unless licensed to do so by the Alabama
Board of Funeral Service. The board is granted authority to issue licenses to embalmers. (b)
All persons shall qualify for examination in accordance with this chapter and shall be licensed
as an embalmer only after due examination by the board and the payment of an examination and
license fee to be established by the board, not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500). (c)
In addition, the board shall establish and charge a reasonable examination fee, based on actual

Section 34-24-524 Application and issuance of expedited licensure. (a) A physician seeking
licensure through the compact shall file an application for an expedited license with the
member board of the state selected by the physician as the state of principal license. (b)

Section 34-27A-12 Written reports, etc., to be furnished by applicant. (a) An original certificate
for any classification as a licensed real estate appraiser shall not be issued to any person
who does not possess the required experience, if any, in real property appraisal supported
by adequate written reports, file memoranda, or other evidence satisfactory to the board.
