Section 34-25-36 Refusal, suspension, reprimand, probation, or revocation - Surrender of license. Upon the revocation or suspension of any license, the licensee shall forthwith surrender the license or licenses to the board; failure of a licensee to do so shall be a violation of this chapter and, upon conviction, shall be subject to the penalties set forth in this chapter. At any time after the suspension or revocation of any license, the board shall restore it to the former licensee upon the written recommendations of the board. Section 34-13-56 Grounds for revocation, suspension, or refusal to issue or renew licenses, etc.; hearing; fines. (a) The board may refuse to license any person or establishment for violation of this chapter. If the board refuses to issue, grant, or renew a license based on a violation of this chapter, including, but not limited to, violations listed in subsection (c), the licensee or prospective licensee may request a public hearing before the board to appeal the action of the board. Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds, procedure, etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized to cancel any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the issuance thereof or that the licensee failed to give the correct or required information in his or her application.
