Section 34-24-70 Qualifications of applicants. (a) The following constitute the requirements for the issuance of a certificate of qualification for a license to practice medicine in this state: (1) MEDICAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENT. All applicants for a certificate of qualification shall present a diploma or evidence of graduation from any of the following institutions: a. A college of medicine or school of medicine accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. b. A college of osteopathy accredited by the American Osteopathic Association. c. A college of medicine or school of medicine not accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education which is approved by the Board of Medical Examiners. Section 40-23-4 Exemptions. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division and from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this division the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline as defined in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state purchaser takes delivery of such oil at a distributor's plant within this state and transports it out-of-state, which are otherwise taxed. (a) In each instance in which any provision of this section requires a determination of the value of a security, or securities, in the fund, the fair market value of such security or securities as determined by pricing sources acceptable to the custodian, shall be deemed to be the value thereof. The agreement on detainers is hereby enacted into law and entered into by the State of Alabama with any and all jurisdictions legally joining therein, in the form substantially as follows: AGREEMENT ON DETAINERS The contracting states solemnly agree that: Article I.
