Section 41-18-1 Text. Article I. Findings and Purposes. (a) The party states find that the South has a sense of community based on common social, cultural and economic needs and fostered by a regional tradition. There are vast potentialities for mutual improvement of each state in the region by cooperative planning for the development, conservation and efficient utilization of human and natural resources in a geographic area large enough to afford a high degree of flexibility in identifying and taking maximum advantage of opportunities for healthy and beneficial growth. The independence of each state and the special needs of subregions are recognized and are to be safeguarded. Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. The purposes of this compact are to: 1. Section 29-2-4 Reporting requirements; powers and duties. (a) On or before January 31 of each year, any county or city required to report local motor fuel excise tax rate information to the Department of Revenue pursuant to Act 1998-192 shall provide a similar report to the transportation department regarding the total amount of local motor fuel excise tax revenues collected by the county or city for the immediately preceding fiscal year and the total amount of the revenues expended on road and bridge maintenance and improvement during that same fiscal year. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. In order to insure continuity of administration, the nine board members provided for by Section 3 of Act 427, Regular Session 1975, shall continue to serve to the completion of the term for which they are serving. Section 32-7C-23 Local assessment fees; quarterly reports; distribution of funds; audits. (a) A TNC shall collect a local assessment fee equal to one percent of the gross trip fare for all prearranged rides that originate in the state in accordance with this article. (b)(1) No later than 30 days after the end of each calendar quarter, a TNC shall submit to the commission all of the following: a. The total local assessment fees collected by a TNC. b. For prearranged rides that originated within a municipality, a report listing the percentage of the gross trip fare that originated in each municipality during the reporting period. c. In addition to those otherwise provided by law, the department shall have the following powers, duties, and authority: (1) Monitor the community punishment and corrections program within the goals and mandates established herein. Section 45-16-81 Additional fee on civil and criminal cases; juvenile probation fund. (a) In Coffee County, in addition to all other costs and charges in the circuit and district courts a fee of three dollars ($3) shall be charged and collected by the clerks of such courts on both civil and criminal cases. The monies derived from the charges hereinabove prescribed shall be remitted to a juvenile probation fund in a separate bank account as determined by the district judge and the probate judge. The county commission may by resolution direct that the clerks deposit all monies collected under this section be deposited into the general fund of the county.
