Section 34-2-35 Seal of registrant; purpose; violations. (a) Each registrant must obtain a seal of a design authorized by the board bearing the registrant's name, the legend registered architect, the words State of Alabama, and the registrant's license registration number. Section 34-24-337 Renewal of certificate; reinstatement of license. (a) Renewal of license. Every person licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama shall, on or before December 31 of each succeeding year, apply to the commission for renewal of a certificate of registration which shall be effective during the next calendar year. Section 36-29A-4 Workers' Compensation Law not applicable. Except as provided herein, the program implemented pursuant to this chapter is not governed by or subject to the provisions of Act 92-537, or its successor, otherwise known as the Alabama Workers' Compensation Law or any similar law. (a) The Alabama Medicaid Agency shall utilize a Medicaid Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee within the agency for the purpose of advising and assisting Medicaid in the development of a preferred drug plan pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §1396r-8.
