Section 37-3-32.1 Administration of Unified Carrier Registration Act of 2005. (a) Foreign and domestic motor carriers, motor private carriers, leasing companies, brokers, and freight forwarders shall not operate in interstate commerce in this state without first registering with a base state and paying all fees as required under the federal Unified Carrier Registration Act of 2005. (b) The Public Service Commission is the state agency in this state responsible for the administration of the federal Unified Carrier Registration Act of 2005, including participating in the development, implementation, and administration of the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement. The commission may follow rules governing the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement issued under the Unified Carrier Registration Plan by its board of directors. Section 37-4-116 Fees for inspection and supervision; payment. (a) Each radio utility, as defined in this article, doing business in this state and subject to the control and jurisdiction of the commission with respect to its rates and service regulations, shall pay quarterly to the commission, beginning on November 1, 1988, and on each quarter thereafter, February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1 of each year, a fee for the inspection and supervision of such business during the next preceding fiscal year. Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds, procedure, etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized to cancel any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the issuance thereof or that the licensee failed to give the correct or required information in his or her application.
