Section 27-7-1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall
have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) BUSINESS ENTITY.
A corporation, association, partnership, limited liability company, limited liability partnership,
or other legal entity. (2) COMMISSIONER. The Alabama Commissioner of Insurance. (3) HOME STATE.
The District of Columbia and any state or territory of the United States in which an insurance
producer maintains his or her principal place of residence or principal place of business
and is licensed to act as an insurance producer. (4) INSURANCE. As defined in Section
27-1-2. (5) INSURANCE PRODUCER or PRODUCER. A person required to be licensed under the laws

Section 31-13-29 Limitations on public records transactions conducted by unauthorized
aliens. (a) For the purposes of this section, public records transaction means applying
for or renewing a motor vehicle license plate, applying for or renewing a driver's license
or nondriver identification card, applying for or renewing a business license, applying for
or renewing a commercial license, or applying for or renewing a professional license. Public

Section 34-24-333 Issuance of certificate of qualification; application and issuance
of license; issuance of license under Retired Senior Volunteer Program. (a) When an applicant
for a license to practice medicine or osteopathy has complied fully with all requirements

(a) The State Board of Medical Examiners may, at its discretion and subject to the rules and
regulations promulgated by the board, issue a certificate of qualification in behalf of physicians
meeting the requirements for participation in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. The Retired
Senior Volunteer Program is created for the purpose of permitting doctors of medicine and
doctors of osteopathy who are fully retired from the active practice of medicine to obtain
