Section 34-4-29 Revocation or suspension - Procedure generally; grounds; notice and hearing required before denial, suspension, or revocation; administrative fines. (a) The board may revoke or suspend licenses as provided in this section. (b) The board may, upon its own motion, and shall, upon the verified complaint in writing of any person containing evidence, documentary or otherwise, that makes out a prima facie case, investigate the actions of any auctioneer, apprentice auctioneer, or any person who assumes to act in either capacity, and hold a hearing on the complaint. (c) The board may suspend or revoke any license which has been issued based on false or fraudulent representations. Section 34-23-3 State drug investigators. Each state drug investigator employed by the board following the passage of this chapter must furnish satisfactory proof to the board that he or she is a person of good moral character and that in the judgment of the members of the board he or she has sufficient knowledge of the laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy and law enforcement to enable him or her to carry out his or her duties as an investigator consistent with this chapter. (a) In order to safeguard public welfare, health, and property and to promote public good, any person practicing or offering to practice landscape architecture, privately or in public service, shall be required to submit evidence that he or she is qualified to practice as hereinafter provided.
