Section 34-24-300 Licensing of certified Physician Assistant or Surgeon Assistant. Notwithstanding
any other provision of this article to the contrary, any person who was certified by the board
as a physician assistant or surgeon assistant to a licensed physician on December 21, 1994,
shall be eligible for the issuance of a license to practice as an assistant to physician in
this state. To qualify for a license under this section, an applicant must submit an

Section 45-39-40.09 Examination; temporary permit. (a) The examination of applicants
for a license to practice a classified profession as designated under this article shall be
conducted under rules prescribed by the board and shall include both practical demonstrations,
written and oral tests in reference to the practices for which a license is applied, and such
related studies on subjects as the board may determine necessary for the proper and efficient

for a broker's or salesperson's license shall submit to a reasonable written examination.
