Section 6-5-662 Definitions. For purposes of this article, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) ESTABLISHED FREE MEDICAL CLINIC. An organized community-based program providing medical care, without charge to individuals unable to pay for it, and which is limited to care that does not require the services of a licensed hospital or ambulatory surgical center, and care that does not include the use of general anesthesia or require an overnight stay in a health care facility. (2) MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. In this chapter: (1) "Agency contract" means an agreement in which a student athlete authorizes a person to negotiate or solicit on behalf of the athlete a professional-sports-services contract or endorsement contract.
