Section 16-28-23 Attendance register and rules and regulations as evidence. The registry of
attendance of pupils kept by any public school, private school, church school or private tutor
in compliance with the provisions of law or any rule and regulation promulgated by the State
Board of Education shall be admissible as evidence of the existence or nonexistence of the
facts it is required to show. A copy of any rule and regulation of the State Board of Education
duly certified as true and correct by the State Superintendent of Education shall be admissible
as evidence of the provisions of such rule and regulation, and the statement in the certificate
of the State Superintendent of Education of the date of the promulgation shall be admissible

Section 26-17-621 Admissibility of results of genetic testing; expenses. (a) Except as otherwise
provided in subsection (c), a record of a genetic-testing expert is admissible as evidence
of the truth of the facts asserted in the report unless a party objects in writing to its
admission within 14 days after its receipt by the objecting party and cites specific grounds
for exclusion. The admissibility of the report is not affected by whether the testing was
performed: (1) voluntarily or pursuant to an order of the court or the Alabama Department
of Human Resources; or (2) before or after the commencement of the proceeding. (b) A party

Section 12-15-310 Conduct of adjudicatory hearings. (a) An adjudicatory hearing is a hearing
at which evidence is presented for a juvenile court to determine if a child is dependent.
At the commencement of the hearing, if the parties are not represented by counsel, they shall

Section 22-9A-19 Amendment of vital records. (a) A certificate registered under this chapter
may be amended only in accordance with this chapter and rules adopted by the board to protect
the integrity and accuracy of vital records. (b) A certificate that is amended under this
