Section 34-23-8.1 Substitution of certain biological products; notice. (a) No person shall dispense or cause to be dispensed a different biological or brand of biological product in lieu of that ordered or prescribed without the express permission in each case of the person ordering or prescribing the drug, except as provided in this section. (b) A licensed pharmacist in this state shall be permitted to select for the brand name biological product prescribed by a licensed physician or other practitioner who is located in this state and authorized by law to write prescriptions, hereinafter referred to as "practitioner," a less expensive interchangeable biological product in all cases where the practitioner expressly authorizes the selection in accordance with subsection (d). Section 34-24-194 Complaint charging violation of article; hearing; subpoenas; judicial review of revocation or refusal of license. (a) Any person may file a complaint with the board against any licensed physical therapist or licensed physical therapist assistant in the state charging the person with a violation of this article. The complaint shall set forth specifications of charges in sufficient detail to disclose to the accused fully and completely the alleged acts of misconduct for which he or she is charged. (a) All registrants must provide pain management services at a location that is owned and operated by one of the following: (1) One or more physicians licensed to practice medicine in Alabama. (a) Human remains shall not be cremated under either of the following circumstances: (1) Within 24 hours after the time of death, unless death was a result of an infectious, contagious, or communicable disease and unless the disease is verified and the time requirement waived by a medical examiner, county health director, county coroner, or attending physician where the death occurred.
