Section 34-24-251 Meetings; quorum. The State Board of Podiatry shall hold meetings at such
times and places as the board may designate for the discharge of all business as may legally
come before the board, and may hold additional meetings, on call of the president of the board,
and the president shall call such meetings on petition of a majority of the members of the
board for carrying into effect the provisions of this article. The board may transact any
and all business that may legally come before the board at these meetings including, but not
limited to, designating times and places for the examination of applicants for licenses or
certificates. The secretary-treasurer shall transact all ad interim business for the board
unless otherwise specified in this article. A majority of the members of the board shall constitute

Section 34-9-41 Officers of board; seal; meetings; compensation; disposition of funds. The
board shall annually elect from its membership a president, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer
and may employ staff members who are not members of the board. The board shall have a common

Section 34-21A-4 Meetings, compensation, expenses of the board. (a) Within 30 days after annual
appointment of new members, the board shall meet for the purpose of organizing, electing new
officers, and transacting such business as deemed necessary. This organizational meeting shall
