Section 2-28-4 Permits; statements as to training and experience of applicants; examination.
(a) Permits generally; fees; delinquent penalty; subcategories of structural pest control
permits and fees. Before any person engages in professional work or services as defined in
this chapter or before any person may solicit professional work or services through advertising
or in any other manner, the person shall apply for and obtain from the commissioner an annual
permit on forms furnished for this purpose accompanied with the annual permit fee which shall
be established by the Board of Agriculture and Industries not to exceed $200. Structural pest

procedure for isolation, retesting, slaughter, etc., of same; compensation of owners for slaughtered
cows, etc., determined not to have been affected by tuberculosis. The owner or proprietor
or manager of any such dairy, upon being notified by such inspector or his assistant, shall

Section 34-13A-7 Powers and duties of board. The board may do all of the following: (1) Determine
the qualifications and fitness of applicants for licensure and renewal of licensure. (2) Consistent

Section 34-9-10 Application; licensure by credentials; special purpose license. (a) Every person
who desires to practice dentistry within the State of Alabama shall file an application prescribed
by the board. Notwithstanding the method of obtaining licensure or any particular requirement

The board shall make and keep a register of all persons eligible and available for appointment
to each class of position in the police department and fire department, ranked according to
ability; it is provided, however, that no examination shall be given and no register kept
