Section 9-10A-12 Officers of board; treasurer to execute bond; quorum; notice of meetings;
position vacated due to absences; records. (a) The board of directors of the watershed management
authority shall annually elect from its membership a chairman, secretary and treasurer. The
treasurer shall execute an official bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his
office to be approved by the board of directors, except that no bond shall be required until
such time as the authority possesses funds. Such bond shall be executed with at least three
solvent personal sureties whose solvency must exceed the amount of the bond or by a surety
company authorized to do business in this state and shall be in an amount determined by the
board of directors. If the treasurer is required to execute a surety company bond, the premium

Section 35-8A-306 Bylaws. (a) The bylaws of the association must provide for: (1) The number
of members of the board and the titles of the officers of the association; (2) Election by
the board of a president, treasurer, secretary, and any other officers of the association

Section 34-14A-4 Officers; meetings; compensation. (a) Members of the board shall select from
its own membership a chair, who shall preside at all meetings of the board unless otherwise
ordered, and he or she shall exercise and perform all duties and functions incident to the
office of chair. The board may select from its own membership a vice-chair, a secretary, and

Section 34-18-45 Receipts and disbursements by secretary-treasurer; bond; annual report. All
moneys received for fees or otherwise under the provisions of this chapter shall be received
by the secretary-treasurer and shall be handled and disbursed by such officers in such manner
and for such purposes as may be prescribed by the board. The secretary-treasurer shall give
bond payable to the board in such sum as the board may direct, conditioned to discharge the

Section 45-49A-83 Prichard Communication Authority. (a) There is created the Prichard Communication
