Section 34-41-4 Board created; membership generally. (a) There is created the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Geologists which shall administer and enforce this chapter. (b) The board shall consist of seven members appointed by the Governor from a list of nominees submitted by the board, or any entity designated by the board. Members of the board, except for the initial board, shall be licensed professional geologists. Whenever possible the membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. Section 34-21-25 Denial, suspension, or revocation of license; administrative fines; voluntary disciplinary alternative program. (a) Subject to the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act, Chapter 22 of Title 41, the board shall have full and final authority as to the suspension or revocation for cause of any permit issued pursuant to this chapter.
