Section 44-2-10 Text of compact. The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is enacted into law and entered into with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR JUVENILES Article I. Purpose. The compacting states to this interstate compact recognize that each state is responsible for the proper supervision or return of juveniles, delinquents and status offenders who are on probation or parole and who have absconded, escaped or run away from supervision and control and in so doing have endangered their own safety and the safety of others. The compacting states also recognize that each state is responsible for the safe return of juveniles who have run away from home and in doing so have left their state of residence. Section 14-6-47 Prisoner Feeding Fund; forms for records; disposition of funds. (a) The Prisoner Feeding Fund is established in the office of each sheriff. Except as provided in subsection (b), all monies received in the sheriff's office for food and services in preparing food, serving food, and other services incident to the feeding of prisoners in the county jail pursuant to this chapter, shall be deposited in the Prisoner Feeding Fund and shall be kept separate from all other monies. Monies deposited in the Prisoner Feeding Fund shall only be used for feeding prisoners except as provided herein. (a) A report of fetal death shall be filed with the Office of Vital Statistics, or as otherwise directed by the State Registrar, within five days after the occurrence is known if the fetus has advanced to, or beyond, the twentieth week of uterogestation.
