Section 15-18-180 Funding for community-based programs, facilities, services; user fees; inmate wages. (a) Community punishment and corrections funds may be used to develop or expand the range of community punishments and services at the local level. Community-based programs should utilize evidence-based practices, as defined in Section 12-25-32, in the treatment and supervision of program participants. The supervision and treatment of each program participant is expected to be based on the participant's anticipated risk of reoffending, as determined through a validated risk and needs assessment as defined in Section 12-25-32, administered by the program. (a) The board shall establish and award, according to the judgment of the board, loans to provide for the training of qualified applicants for admission or students in any accredited master's degree program for physician assistant studies at a medical school or college. Section 34-23-184 Audit procedures; report. (a) The entity conducting an audit shall follow these procedures: (1) The pharmacy contract shall identify and describe in detail the audit procedures. (2) The entity conducting the on-site audit shall give the pharmacy written notice at least two weeks before conducting the initial on-site audit for each audit cycle. (a)(1) The department shall send a notice of assessment to each privately operated hospital informing the hospital of the assessment rate, the hospital's net patient revenue calculation, and the estimated assessment amount owed by the hospital for the applicable fiscal year.
