Section 34-2A-10 Issuance of license. (a) The board shall issue a license to an applicant, on a form provided for that purpose by the board, certifying that the applicant has met the requirements of the laws, rules, and regulations entitling him or her to serve, act, practice, and otherwise hold himself or herself out as a duly licensed assisted living administrator and has paid a fee established by the board pursuant to its rule-making authority for original licensure, provided the applicant meets all of the following qualifications: (1) Has successfully complied with the educational and training requirements of this chapter and of the rules and regulations of the board promulgated under this chapter. (a) The board may suspend or revoke a license or permit based on the provisions of this chapter or board rules, subject to due process of law as described in the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act.
