Section 16-46-10 Violations of chapter; penalties. It shall be unlawful for any person to violate
this chapter. Any person required by this chapter to have a license or permit who shall do
in this state any business of the nature described in this chapter without first obtaining
such a license or permit as required of him or her by this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500)
or a term of imprisonment not to exceed six months, or both. Each day's violation of this
chapter shall constitute a separate offense. All fines shall be deposited in the State Treasury

Section 34-39-11 Issuance of license; limited permit; permitted representations. (a) The board
shall issue a license to any person who meets the requirements of this chapter upon payment
of the license fee as described in Section 34-39-14. (b) The board shall issue a limited permit
to persons who have completed the educational and fieldwork experience requirements of this
chapter. This permit shall allow the person to practice occupational therapy under the supervision
of an occupational therapist who holds a current license in this state and shall be valid
until the date on which the results of the qualifying examination have been made public. This
limited permit shall not be renewed if the applicant has failed the examination. Failure of

Section 34-16-10 Application for license or permit; issuance; rejection. (a) Any person may
apply for a license or a permit pursuant to this chapter by filing a written application on
a form prescribed by the board not less than 30 days prior to the next meeting of the board.
The application shall be accompanied by the payment of the annual nonrefundable license fee

Section 34-1A-7 Licenses - Required. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for
any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state
without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations

Section 34-7B-10 Suspension or revocation of license or permit; penalties. (a) The board may
suspend or revoke a license or permit based on the provisions of this chapter or board rules,
subject to due process of law as described in the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act. The

Section 34-14-2 Licenses or permits - Required; display; duplicates; corporations, partnerships,
etc. (a) No person shall engage in the sale of or practice of fitting hearing instruments
or display a sign or in any other way advertise or represent himself or herself as a person

person who has been found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this chapter and who,

Section 34-29-78 Injunction against unauthorized practice of veterinary medicine. The board
or any citizen of this state may bring action in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County to
enjoin any person from practicing veterinary medicine without a currently valid license or
temporary permit. If the court finds that the person is violating or is threatening to violate
