Section 34-8A-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise, the following words and phrases shall have the respective meanings ascribed by this section: (1) ASSOCIATE LICENSED COUNSELOR. Any person that has been licensed by the board to offer counseling services as defined in this section while under the supervision of a board approved supervisor. (2) BOARD. Section 22-21-149 Bonds - Use of proceeds. (a) The proceeds derived from the sale of any bonds sold by the authority, other than refunding bonds, shall be used only to pay the cost of acquiring, constructing, improving, enlarging and equipping one or more projects, as may be provided in the proceedings in which the bonds are authorized to be issued. Section 25-4-91 Determinations and redeterminations upon claims for benefits. (a) Determination by examiner. Section 38-9-6 Protective placement or other protective services. (a) An interested person may petition the court to order protective placement or other protective services for an adult in need of protective services. No protective placement or other protective services may be ordered unless there is a determination by the court that the person is unable to provide for his or her own protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation, sexual abuse, or emotional abuse. Upon a petition, setting forth the facts and name, age, sex, and residence of the person, the court of the circuit in which the person resides shall appoint a day, not more than 30 days from the filing of the petition, for the hearing on the petition.
