Section 10A-1-7.12 Grounds for revocation. The Secretary of State may commence a proceeding
under Section 10A-1-7.13 to revoke the registration of a foreign entity authorized to transact
business in this state if: (1) the foreign entity does not deliver its annual report, if required
by law, to the Secretary of State within 180 days after it is due; (2) the foreign entity
does not pay within 180 days after they are due any applicable privilege or corporation share
tax, qualification fee or admission tax, or interest or penalties imposed by this title or
other law; (3) the foreign entity is without a registered agent or registered office in this
state for 60 days or more; (4) the foreign entity does not file a statement of change of registered

Section 10A-1-7.21 Transaction of business without registration; generally. (a) A foreign entity
transacting business in this state, except a corporation or other organization formed pursuant
to federal law, may not maintain any action, suit, or proceeding in any court of this state
until it has registered in this state. (b) The failure of a foreign entity to register in
this state does not impair the validity of any contract or act of the foreign entity or prevent
the foreign entity from defending any action, suit, or proceeding in any court of this state.

Section 30-3D-606 Procedure to contest validity or enforcement of registered support order.
(a) A nonregistering party seeking to contest the validity or enforcement of a registered
support order in this state shall request a hearing within the time required by Section 30-3D-605.
The nonregistering party may seek to vacate the registration, to assert any defense to an
allegation of noncompliance with the registered order, or to contest the remedies being sought

Section 32-8-30 Certificate required for certain motor vehicles and travel trailers; penalty.
(a) Except as provided in Section 32-8-31, every owner of a motor vehicle which is in this
state and which is required to be registered under the motor vehicle laws of this state and
