Section 34-27-35 License certificates generally. (a) The commission shall prescribe the form and content of license certificates issued. Each qualifying broker's license certificate shall show the name and business address of the broker. The license certificate of each active salesperson or associate broker shall show his or her name and address. The license certificate of each active salesperson or associate broker shall be delivered or mailed to his or her qualifying broker. Each license certificate shall be kept by the qualifying broker and shall be publicly displayed at the address which appears on the license certificate. Section 34-24-361 Investigations; reporting offenses; proceedings and actions; privileged information. (a)(1) The State Board of Medical Examiners on its own motion may investigate any evidence which appears to show that a physician or osteopath holding a certificate of qualification to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama is or may be guilty of any of the acts, offenses, or conditions set out in Section 34-24-360. As part of its investigation, the board may require a criminal history background check of the physician or osteopath. In such event, the physician or osteopath shall submit a complete set of fingerprints to the State Board of Medical Examiners. Section 34-12-8 Licenses - Expiration; renewal. (a) Licenses shall expire on the 30th day of September next following their issuance or renewal and shall become invalid on that date unless renewed. Section 34-8-2 Licensure and classification of contractors.
