Section 34-2-34 Refusal, revocation, or suspension of certificate; grounds; hearing; appeal.
The board shall have the following disciplinary powers: (1) To issue reprimands to any licensee
who violates any provision of this chapter or the rules and regulations of the board. (2)
To levy administrative fines for serious violations of this chapter or the rules and regulations
of the board of not more than $5,000 for each day the violation continues, but in no event
shall an administrative fine exceed $25,000 total per violation. (3) To refuse to issue a
certificate, to suspend a certificate for a definite period, or to revoke the certificate

Section 2-15-68 Rules and regulations for implementation of division. The commissioner, with
the approval of the board, is hereby authorized to promulgate rules and regulations as are
reasonably necessary to carry out the evident intent and purposes of this division. Before

Section 22-18-3 Rules and regulations. (a) In the manner provided in this section, the Board
of Health shall establish and publish reasonable rules and regulations for the training, qualification,
scope of privilege, and licensing of EMSP, and provider services, and for the operation, design,
equipment, and licensing of air and ground ambulances. In adopting rules and regulations,
the Board of Health shall follow the provisions of the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act,

Section 25-5-253 Bylaws. (a) Within 120 days after their appointment, the board of directors
shall propose to the Secretary of the Department of Labor a set of bylaws for the operation
and administration of the association. The bylaws shall not be effective until approved by
the Secretary of the Department of Labor. If the board of directors fails to submit bylaws
or if the Secretary of the Department of Labor does not approve the submitted bylaws, then
