Section 34-27A-5 Rulemaking authority; powers and duties of board; immunity from suit. (a) The board shall act by a majority vote of its members to adopt administrative rules necessary, from time to time, to carry out this article. Rules of the board shall be adopted in compliance with the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act, Chapter 22 of Title 41. Section 34-27-6 Real estate courses and schools. (a) For purposes of this section and rules adopted pursuant thereto, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADMINISTRATOR. Section 34-27-33 Examinations; temporary and original salesperson licenses; post license course requirements. (a)(1) In addition to other requirements of this chapter, every applicant for a broker's or salesperson's license shall submit to a reasonable written examination. The commission shall conduct examinations at places and times it prescribes. The commission may contract with an independent testing agency to prepare, grade, or conduct the examination.
