Section 27-7-28 Nonresident agents or brokers - License generally. (a) Unless denied licensure pursuant to Section 27-7-19, a nonresident person shall receive a nonresident producer license if all of the following are satisfied: (1) The person has submitted or transmitted to the commissioner a copy of the application for licensure that the person submitted to his or her home state or, in lieu of the same, a completed Uniform Application. (2) The person has submitted the proper request for licensure and has paid the fees required under Section 27-4-2. (3) The person's home state awards nonresident producer licenses to residents of this state on the same basis. (4) The person is currently licensed as a resident producer and is in good standing in the state of his or her residence. (b) The commissioner may verify the producer's licensing status through the database maintained by the NAIC, its affiliates or subsidiaries. (a) Any person wishing the right to practice chiropractic shall make application to the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners in the form as the board may prescribe. (b) In addition to other requirements established by law and for the purpose of determining an applicant's suitability for a license to practice chiropractic, each applicant shall submit a complete set of fingerprints to the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
