Section 16-60-195 Advisory councils. The advisory councils for the state vocational trade schools
shall each consist of not less than four nor more than nine members appointed by the Governor
upon the recommendation of the State Superintendent of Education. The Governor shall designate
one member as chairman. The members of the councils shall serve for terms of one year and
shall be eligible for reappointment. The membership of each advisory council shall reflect,
as nearly as possible, an equal representation of employer and employee groups or organizations.
The councils shall serve in an advisory capacity to the directors of the state vocational
trade schools and to the State Board of Education in promoting the interests of the individual
