Section 41-16-123 Provisions applicable to certain property held by division. This section shall apply only to that property that has been held by the division for a period of not less than 60 days from the date the property is first published in the list of surplus property, as set out in subsection (b) of Section 41-16-121, and not purchased by any eligible entity as set out in subsection (e) of Section 41-16-120 as follows: (1) All contracts made by or on behalf of the State of Alabama or a department, board, bureau, commission, institution, corporation, or agency thereof, of whatever nature for the sale or disposal of tangible personal property owned by the State of Alabama, other than the following: a. Any other provision of law notwithstanding, the procurement of professional services by any agency, department, board, bureau, commission, authority, public corporation, or instrumentality of the State of Alabama shall be conducted through the following selection process: (1)a. (a) There is hereby created in the state treasury a special fund to be known as the State Treasury Operations Fund, which shall be used exclusively for the operations of the Office of the State Treasurer. Section 22-30A-3 Alabama Hazardous Substance Cleanup Fund established; appropriations. (a) There is hereby established within the State Treasury a special revenue fund to be known as the Alabama Hazardous Substance Cleanup Fund. Section 16-61B-1 Legislative intent. There is hereby created within the State Treasury a fund, designated the Education Technology Fund, hereinafter referred to as the fund. The State Superintendent of Education shall authorize the expenditure of monies within the fund, upon the approval of the State Board of Education. The executive director of the board shall receive and account for all moneys derived from the operation of this chapter. (a) The Director of ADECA may establish and administer the research and development enhancement grant program for the purpose of encouraging new and continuing efforts to conduct new or expanded research and development activities within Alabama.
