Section 37-2A-4 Jurisdiction of the Public Service Commission. (a) Notwithstanding any
provision of law to the contrary, the commission shall not have any jurisdiction, right, power,
authority, or duty to regulate, supervise, control, oversee, or monitor, directly or indirectly,
the rates, charges, classifications, provision, or any aspect of broadband service, broadband
enabled services, VoIP services, or information services. (b)(1) The commission may require
incumbent local exchange carriers to unbundle their networks, but the commission shall not
require the carriers to unbundle in a manner that exceeds in degree or differs in kind from
the unbundling requirements of the Federal Communications Commission. (2) Nothing in this
section shall be construed to: a. Affect any entity's obligations under 47 U.S.C. Sections

Section 11-49A-1 Legislative findings and purpose. The legislature has found and determined
and does hereby declare that in Class 3 municipalities the following conditions exist: (1)
That the constant growth of private vehicular traffic in such counties in which such municipalities
are located is placing excessive burdens upon the road systems and parking facilities, especially
in commercial and industrial districts and in areas of high population density; (2) That the
continued economic growth of such municipalities and the general health and welfare of the
citizens of such counties require the availability of public facilities for mass transportation;

Section 13A-10-132 Crimes in connection with sham legal process, etc. (a) For the purposes
of this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) LAW ENFORCEMENT

Section 13A-11-36 Defenses to prosecutions under article. (a) A person does not commit
a crime under this article if: (1) He was a peace officer engaged in the lawful performance
of his duties; or (2) He was an officer, employee or agent of a communication common carrier

Section 34-13-20 Creation; composition; qualifications of members; appointment and removal
from board. (a) There is established the Alabama Board of Funeral Service, consisting of nine
