Section 16-24C-6 Termination of employment - Grounds for termination; procedures; appeals.
(a) Tenured teachers and nonprobationary classified employees may be terminated at any time
because of a justifiable decrease in the number of positions or for incompetency, insubordination,
neglect of duty, immorality, failure to perform duties in a satisfactory manner, or other
good and just cause, subject to the rights and procedures hereinafter provided. However, a
vote or decision to approve a recommended termination on the part of a president of a two-year
educational institution operated under the authority and control of the Department of Postsecondary
Education or the governing board shall not be made for political or personal reasons. (b)

Section 16-47-80 Contractual agreement of recipients; penalties for breach. (a) Each recipient
of a scholarship loan under the provisions of this article shall enter into a contract with
the Board of Dental Scholarship Awards whereby he or she agrees to repay the scholarship loan
in a manner prescribed by the board not inconsistent with any provision of this article. Breach
of contract by the recipient shall make him or her immediately liable for the unpaid balance
of the loan and shall constitute a ground for the revocation of his or her certificate or
license to practice dentistry in the State of Alabama. In the event of death or total and

Section 34-16-4 Licensure Board for Interpreters and Transliterators - Creation; composition;
meetings; duties; compensation. (a) There is created the Alabama Licensure Board for Interpreters

of adjustment may be taken by any person aggrieved or by any officer or department of Baldwin
County affected by any decision of any administrative officer representing the county in an
