Section 34-36-9 Failure to renew license; restoration fee; new license. An expired license for an electrical contractor which has expired for failure to renew may only be restored within five years from the date of expiration after application and payment of the prescribed restoration fee and satisfaction of all continuing education requirements. The restoration fee shall be established by the board and shall be due upon application for restoration. The restoration fee shall be in addition to all accrued renewal fees. Any license which has not been restored within five years following its expiration may not be renewed, restored, or reissued thereafter.
