Section 45-8-241.01 License requirements for door-to-door sales. (a) All persons engaged in the business of selling products door-to-door for profit shall have a state transient business license and a county business license issued by the commissioner of licenses as provided in Section 45-8-241, and shall pay any license or privilege fee and any issuance fee required therein. (b) The person or business shall apply for application to the commissioner of licenses on forms provided by the commissioner. The application form shall require the applicant to fully describe the nature of the business and type of products or services to be sold. (c) Any person who is to be engaged in door-to-door sales shall provide to the commissioner his or her full name, date of birth, driver's license, or other government issued identification number, address, and the name and address of the business with which he or she is employed as a door-to-door salesperson. Section 2-21-19 Licensing. (a) No person shall manufacture or sell a commercial feed in this state, unless he or she has filed with the commissioner on forms provided by the commissioner, his or her name, place of business, and location of each manufacturing facility from which feed may be shipped within or into this state. (b) The person shall apply for and obtain from the commissioner a license authorizing the sale and distribution of commercial feed. Section 32-6-292 Procedure for issuance; fees; limitations. The distinctive license plates provided for by this division shall be prepared by the Commissioner of Revenue and shall be issued through the probate judge or license commissioner of the several counties of the state in like manner as are other motor vehicle license plates or tags, and, except as herein provided, such officers shall be entitled to their regular fees for such service. Applicants for such distinctive plates shall present to the issuing official proof of their military retirement by proof satisfactory to the commissioner. (a) The board may recognize and issue, without examination and upon payment of a fee not in excess of five hundred dollars ($500) for each license, a reciprocal license for the practice of funeral directing or embalming to any person licensed as a funeral director or embalmer by any state, if the board makes an individual determination that the qualifications of the applicant meet or exceed the minimum qualifications required for funeral directors or embalmers in this state and that a written examination of such applicant would be superfluous.
