Section 34-9-40 Creation; composition. (a) In order to accomplish the purposes and to provide
for the enforcement of this chapter, there is hereby created the board. The board is hereby
vested with the authority to carry out the purposes and enforce the provisions of this chapter.
On June 24, 1959, the members of the present board now in existence shall hold office for
the remainder of their respective terms for which they have been elected and thereafter until
their successors are elected and qualified and shall constitute the board under this chapter.
The board shall consist of six dentists who shall be selected in the method set forth herein
all of whom having been actively engaged in the practice of dentistry in the State of Alabama
for at least five years next preceding the date of their election and one dental hygienist

Section 45-47-250.04 Board of directors. (a) The Marion County Public Water Authority shall
be governed by a board of directors. All powers of the authority shall be exercised by the

Section 34-2-38 Board for Registration of Architects - Creation; composition. To carry out
the provisions of this chapter, there shall be a State Board for Registration of Architects,
consisting of six members, each of whom shall be appointed by the Governor from a list of
three persons selected as follows: (1) All appointments as members of the board shall be architects

Section 34-5A-3 Composition of board; compensation; meetings; rules and fees; investigations;
Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board Fund. (a) The Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing
Board is established within the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
The board shall consist of seven members, including four licensed behavior analysts, one licensed
psychologist in the state, one parent or legal guardian of a person being treated for a behavior
disorder, or a person who has received services from a licensed behavior analyst, and one
public member, who, except for the initial members, shall be appointed by the Governor, as

911 Board comprised of 13 members that shall reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural,
and economic diversity of the state. All appointing authorities shall coordinate their appointments

named in the application and their respective successors in office, the Governor, or his or
