Section 38-4-11 Confederate widows eligible for old age assistance. Any widow of a Confederate veteran entitled to a pension under the provisions of the laws authorizing the payment of such pensions to Confederate widows, who may also be eligible for old age assistance under the terms of this chapter, shall be required to make application for assistance as provided in this chapter. Any assistance actually received by any such person under the terms of this chapter shall be deducted from the pension due such person under the provisions of said Confederate pension laws. Nothing herein contained, however, shall ever under any circumstances be construed or allowed to cause any said widow to receive less than she would but for the provisions of this chapter. Section 14-6-47 Prisoner Feeding Fund; forms for records; disposition of funds. (a) The Prisoner Feeding Fund is established in the office of each sheriff.
