Section 34-11-35.1 Legislative findings; rulemaking authority. (a) In addition to the powers
provided to the board by Section 34-11-35, the Legislature finds and declares all of the following:
(1) The power to adopt rules regulating the practice of engineering and land surveying in
the state includes the power to prohibit unlicensed persons from practicing engineering or
land surveying and the power to regulate how licensed persons practice. (2) The primary goal
of the provision of engineering and land surveying in the state is to prioritize health, life,
safety, welfare, and property. (3) The board is in the best position to determine the engineering
and land surveying practices that prioritize health, life, safety, welfare, and property.
(4) Prioritizing health, life, safety, welfare, and property may sometimes be at odds with
the goals of state and federal antitrust laws which include prioritizing competition and efficiency.

Section 34-5A-3 Composition of board; compensation; meetings; rules and fees; investigations;
Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board Fund. (a) The Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing
Board is established within the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
The board shall consist of seven members, including four licensed behavior analysts, one licensed
psychologist in the state, one parent or legal guardian of a person being treated for a behavior
disorder, or a person who has received services from a licensed behavior analyst, and one

Section 45-25-130 Qualifications; compensation; duties; employment of road supervisor. (a)
The DeKalb County Commission shall employ a county engineer, who shall be a thoroughly qualified
and competent, licensed professional civil engineer, possessing all of the qualifications
as specified for county engineers under the general laws of the State of Alabama. The engineer
shall reside within DeKalb County during his or her employment. (b) The county commission
shall fix the amount of the salary of the county engineer in an amount to be determined by

Section 34-41-14 Seal. (a) Each geologist, upon the issuance of a license, shall obtain from

Section 34-29-111 Duties of board; Alabama Veterinary Professionals Wellness Committee; liability.
(a) It shall be the duty and obligation of the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners
