Section 22-30D-3 Definitions. Unless otherwise defined in this chapter, the definitions of terms included in Section 22-30-3 shall be applicable to this chapter. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) ABANDONED DRYCLEANING FACILITY. Any real property premises or individual leasehold space located in this state owned by any person in which a drycleaning facility or wholesale distribution facility formerly operated; provided, however, that any owner or operator or wholesale distributor who shall have elected not to be covered by the provisions of this chapter shall not be considered a person owning or leasing such a facility for the purposes of this chapter. (2) ADJACENT LAND OWNER. Section 20-2-190 Penalties; sale of ephedrine, etc.; Alabama Drug Abuse Task Force. Section 34-41-5 Powers of board. (a) The board shall elect from its membership a chair, a vice chair, and a secretary-treasurer. The board shall adopt rules to govern its proceedings. A majority of the appointed membership of the board shall constitute a quorum for all meetings. Section 5-26-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply: (1) DEPOSITORY INSTITUTION. Section 5-5A-44 Acquisition of majority of voting shares of a bank; procedure. (a) No person, acting directly or indirectly or through or in concert with one or more persons, may acquire control of a state bank or of any corporation or other entity having control of a state bank, unless an application is filed with the superintendent for review of the proposed transaction and for his or her action, if any, as provided in this section.
