Section 25-12-5 Installation and operation to conform with rules and regulations. No
boiler or pressure vessel which does not conform to the rules and regulations of the department
governing new construction and installation shall be installed and operated in this state
after 12 months from the date upon which the first rules and regulations under this chapter
pertaining to new construction and installation shall have become effective, unless the boiler
or pressure vessel is of special design or construction and is not inconsistent with the spirit

Section 22-2-14 Penalty for violation of State Board of Health rules or regulations.
Any person who knowingly violates or fails or refuses to obey or comply with any rule or regulation
adopted and promulgated by the State Board of Health of this state shall be guilty of a misdemeanor

Section 33-5-52 Boater safety certification generally. (a) Every person, except those
specifically exempted by statutory enactment, within five years from April 28, 1994, shall
procure a boater safety certification before operating a motorized vessel upon the waters
of this state, as defined in Section 33-5-3. This section shall not apply to
any sailboat, rowboat, or canoe. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, an Alabama
resident 16 years of age and older, who has not been previously issued a boater safety certification,
