Section 16-26A-4 Board of directors generally. (a) There is hereby created a board of directors for the school, sometimes hereinafter referred to as the "board." Section 34-29-79 Administrative hearing procedures. (a) When the board, by its official actions, acts or proposes to act in a manner which will affect the rights, duties, or privileges of the issuance of a license to an applicant or the license of a veterinarian, veterinary technician, or other individual, those persons shall have a right to an administrative hearing. When the board proposes to act in such manner, it shall give to the person or persons notice of their right to a hearing by certified mail to the person at his or her last known address, a notice of the proposed action, notice of a right to a hearing, and the time and place for a hearing, as provided in subsection (b). (a) Upon application by a coastal municipality, the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, acting through the Lands Division of the department, shall issue a permit for the construction and maintenance of a beach project by the coastal municipality under the authority of Article 11 of Chapter 47 of Title 11, provided all of the requirements of this section shall have been satisfied. All powers of a commission shall be exercised by its members or pursuant to their authorization. Section 12-9A-2 Reallocation of vacant judgeship. (a) Only in the event of a vacancy due to death, retirement, resignation, or removal from office of a district or circuit judge, the Judicial Resources Allocation Commission shall have 30 days to determine whether to reallocate such judgeship to another district or circuit. The commission may also choose to reallocate a judgeship if the incumbent judge is not eligible to run for reelection as a result of the age limitation provided for in Section 155 of the Constitution of Alabama 1901, as amended, by notifying the Secretary of State no later than one year prior to the close of qualifying for candidates to run for such judgeship.
