Section 8-20A-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have
the respective meanings as indicated: (1) CONSUMER. The purchaser, other than for purposes
of resale, of a new or previously untitled motor vehicle used in substantial part for personal,
family, or household purposes, and any other person entitled by the terms of such warranty
to enforce the obligations of the warranty. (2) MOTOR VEHICLE. Every vehicle intended primarily
for use and operation on the public highways which is self-propelled; provided, however, that
the term "motor vehicle" shall not apply to motor homes or to any motor vehicle
having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,000 pounds or more. (3) MANUFACTURER.
The person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of manufacturing, importing and/or
distributing motor vehicles to be made available to a motor vehicle dealer for retail sale.

Section 21-7-1 Declaration of policy; definitions. (a) It is the policy of this state
to encourage and enable the blind, the visually impaired, and the physically disabled to participate
fully in the social and economic life of the state and to engage in meaningful employment.
(b) For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
(1) HANDLER. Includes an individual with a disability and a trainer. (2) HOUSING ACCOMMODATION.
Any real property or portion thereof which is used or occupied, or intended, arranged, or
designed to be used or occupied, as the home, residence, or sleeping place of one or more

Section 22-20A-2 Definitions. For purposes of this article, the following terms shall
have the following meanings: (1) BOARD. The State Board of Health as defined in Section
22-2-3. (2) DOMESTIC. Any farm-raised fish or wild fish hatched, raised, harvested, or processed
within the United States or a territory of the United States. (3) FARM-RAISED FISH. Includes

Section 32-9A-2 Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; in-service
training by law enforcement officers. (a)(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b),
no person may operate a commercial motor vehicle in this state, or fail to maintain required
records or reports, in violation of the federal motor carrier safety regulations as prescribed
by the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 C.F.R. Part 107, Parts 171-180, Parts 382-387,

Section 34-27C-12 Prohibited activities. (a) It is unlawful for any person or entity
to do any of the following: (1) Issue a shield or badge not in conformance with this chapter.
Except for sworn peace officers, no person or entity shall wear or display any badge, insignia,
device, shield, patch, or pattern containing words which would indicate that he or she is

Section 37-11C-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words shall have
the following meanings: (1) CLASS II RAILROAD. A carrier classified as a Class II railroad
pursuant to 49 CFR § 1201, or other rule adopted by the United States Surface Transportation

Section 40-9B-3 Definitions. (a) For purposes of this chapter, the following words and
